Usability

Photo Editing

ACDSee Photo Editor editing software has two modes for your editing pleasure. Choose from automatic or full edit depending on the ease of your project and your experience with using editing tools. The automatic mode adjusts color balance and contrast and makes general fixes. The full edit tools include sharpen, sponge, blur, smudge, burn, dodge and red eye. Adding text to your project is a streamlined process as you type and edit directly onto the photo. No text box is required for this program. Other dedicated editing tools involve cloning, masking and creating vignettes. Choose from an array of stylized effects to enhance your photos to make them stand out. There are eight variations to each effect and changes are easy to undo. Graphic design tools included with ACDSee Photo Editor are an eye dropper tool, snap-to grids and rulers.

Photo Sharing

The printing options for ACDSee are less than optimal, allowing you to only chose the size of your photo's and how many you want per page, it does not allow multiple sizes per page.

Output Capabilities

You can export your design projects in more than 50 different file formats with ACDSee Photo Editor. You can choose to output to a web page, to Microsoft Word or to Microsoft PowerPoint. The program will adjust the file size for each of these outputs to match the chosen format.
